Clara Pratt - Piano

Clara Pratt is currently a student at Wake Technical Community College in the Associates in Fine Arts: Visual Arts program. She began piano lessons at the age of four, participating in piano competitions from the age of seven. With guidance from her piano teachers, Julie Gorka and Dr. Jeanine Skinner, she has received Honors Awards several times through both YAA and NCMTA. She has also had the privilege of participating in the studio’s Honors Recital three times.

 

Clara began teaching piano at the age of 12 and began teaching at Music Academy South in the summer of 2022. She loves the opportunity she has to invest in her students' lives by helping them learn to play the piano. 

 

Clara also has a passion for art, and loves drawing and painting. While she teaches at Music Academy South, she also helps with the studio’s graphic design and other artistic needs. Upon graduation, she plans to continue pursuing a Visual Arts degree, while also continuing to teach others how to play the piano.
