
Jaimi Grether - Violin
Jaimi Grether is an active violinist and dedicated teacher with extensive orchestral and performance experience. She currently performs with the Chamber Orchestra of the Triangle, North Carolina Opera, North Carolina Symphony, Carolina Philharmonic, Raleigh Symphony, Tar River Orchestra, Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra, and Durham Symphony. She has also performed with the Carolina Ballet and numerous regional ensembles.
Jaimi has performed in a wide variety of settings, including musical theater productions, special events, and concerts with artists such as Andrea Bocelli, Michael W. Smith, and A.R. Rahman. She is also in demand for weddings, corporate functions, and chamber music. In addition, she serves as the Director of Save the Date Music, a professional booking agency providing live musicians and DJs for weddings, corporate events, and special occasions.
As an educator, Jaimi brings more than a decade of teaching experience to her students. She has taught privately, homeschooled, and led violin sectionals for the Triangle Youth Orchestra and Youth Symphony. Her teaching is informed by continued study in violin pedagogy, music theory, and performance practice, as well as her own training at the Meadowmount School of Music, the Académie Musicale de Morges in Switzerland, and through private study with North Carolina Symphony former concertmaster Brian Reagin.
Jaimi is a member of the American String Teachers Association and is passionate about helping students of all ages build strong technical foundations, develop musical expression, and discover a lifelong love of music.
