Brittany Pence - Piano, Violin, Voice

Brittany Pence brings a strong musical background to Music Academy South. She studied piano, violin, voice, and musical theatre throughout her formative years, studying the works of the great composers from an early age. She went on to graduate from The College at Southeastern (now Judson College) right here in Wake Forest with a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies/Music Performance (with a concentration in voice). After a few years of working in churches and teaching private music lessons, she went on to East Carolina University, where she completed their Post-Baccalaureate Teaching License program, with a focus on Music Education. She went on to work in the public school system, before eventually returning to her private lesson roots. She has been involved with numerous orchestras and choirs over the years. Brittany is excited to pass on her love and knowledge of music to students here at Music Academy South.
