Krista Bellamy - Piano

Krista Bellamy has been an avid music lover since before she could walk. As soon as she started taking piano lessons at the age of ten, she fell in love with it and how she could express so much through playing. She participated in numerous piano competitions throughout her teenage years, guided by multiple teachers throughout her studies. She moved to North Carolina from Texas after high school and attended UNC-Chapel Hill where she earned her degree in Peace, War, and Defense with a double minor in Computer Science and English. Krista is passionate about learning and continues to take piano lessons even now. Krista knows the importance of having a teacher you can connect with, and is excited to share her love of learning and music as a piano teacher. She meets students where they are on their own journeys, both in life and in music, to inspire and cultivate the talent that is already within every student. In addition to piano, Krista loves to hang out with friends, play soccer, read, garden, and go for walks with her dog, Einstein, and cuddle with her cat, Fin.
